Ann's Ever So Shitty Note

December already? With How Fitting being just like every inch of the internet during this holiday season, expect gift hauls, comments on how fucking cold it is getting, and well of course, snow! Aside from looking forward to the the lovely Christmas music that plays in every single store (notice my sarcasm), there are actually some things to keep your eyes out for during this month on How Fitting! I'm not going to go into geat detail about what the babes of this online magazine are putting out for you guys but no need to fear, All Time Low's Merry Christmas Kiss My Ass will be referenced more times than you could possibly ever want or care to read about.

Ann Writes Notes

Hi There! God there is so much happening in November! Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, and the ever so stressful, Nanorimo. Though I have participated in Camp Nanorimo, this will be my first ever dash to
50,000 words in November. To tell you the truth, I have no idea whether to be excited or scared. I mean even during the Summer when I had no school and only 30,000 words to write, I was already stressed out so add 20,000 words and seven hours of my day taken out and you have the situation I will be in. With so much overwhelming writing going on, I will do my best with posts though expect shorter posts than usual and more "guest writers". I will do my best I promise but if I end up behind on words or just get stressed out with how dreadful I am at writing fiction, that is I guess what I will have to resort to. I think the moral of this post is how terrible a blogger I am.
Love you guys!

Ann's Note- September

Tumblr
Summer flew by all too fast and if you haven't already started school, classes will be starting soon (Fiona's school is already started). September can kind of be known as one of the worst months ever. I mean not only do you have to switch gears from sleeping half the day and staying up all night but September is extremely awkward. You haven't seen more than half of these people in a good couple months! To help you get through this crazy transition and feel you a little less nervous about school (says the girl who is freaking out), The How Fitting girls got together to make a "Back To School Week" starting Friday the sixth where for that Friday Extra and the rest of the week, the three of us will be putting out back to school themed posts.  I want to take this long break as a time to become a "better Ann". I am not saying that I want to become a WHOLE new person but work on the things that I don't like about myself so I can finally focus on the things that I love about myself. I don't want to be as quiet. I don't want to hold myself back from doing things that I want to do and saying things that I want to say just because of my horrible shyness. Yes, I am aware that my anxiety and shyness aren't just going to poof away but unlike last year, I want to work on this problem of mine instead of just being miserable about it and not doing anything. So here we are. A little bit more than a week until I become a big scary eighth grader. Though September can be the month where I probably get the most anxiety, I am somewhat excited to have a place to show off my outfits. Good luck you guys!

P.S I am so sorry that this past week was a little bit of a mess! Fiona just moved back to America (yay!) and also started school so didn't have time to write up posts with so much going on. This past Thursday, Emma was on vacation and on Monday, I couldn't write an outfits post for I was on a surprise trip to the beach for the weekend with Vivi.

Ann's Note

Winners Circle
Hey there!
And here we are on the first day of August! Unlike During the school year, when the passing months come most people are excited, the Summer is much different. Here we are in the last month of Summer 2013. A ton of rather important events happened in the month of July. One of the biggest events and things that I have completed in quite a long day was making it to the winners circle in Camp Nanorimo 2013. Yes I actually did finish The Year I Fell In Love With Saskia Hamilton and to tell you the truth, I am actually happy how it turned out. Will it be the next bestseller? Definitely not. Is it well written? It was written in eighteen freaking days. Of course not! Am I proud of it? Hell yes. The point of Nanorimo is to kind of make an outline of the novel you will edit and perhaps even rewrite later and though I really do love it, I highly doubt that I will end up making the choice to touch up my story. I like it being my first ever Nanorimo novel and I am surely keeping it in it's true form of crappiness.
Onto the subject of this month's blog posts, I can definitely promise some much better quality work out of me now that I am not writing 2,000 words each day. In addition, our new writers have been doing great and of the drafts Emma and Fiona have sent me (I am such a Tavi), there is some amazing content for this month and other months to come. Just a small insider on How Fitting, I have been talking to another person about writing every other Saturday so who knows what the hell will happen! So tell me, what are your plans for the month of August? I cannot wait to see you lovelies for this month's "Things You Must See" and "Monthly Fashion Bible" I am just telling you now that every single thing we are suggesting to you is utter perfection.

Ann's Note- June 2013

Hey Goobers!
Wow May was probably the most craziest month this year. Not only did I become a Jewish "adult" but one of the best shows on TV was cancelled. I am still mourning "The New Normal". Other than that tragedy, May has been a pretty great month. The month before the thing that about every student waits for. June! Now we're here. Crazy right? Everyone is moving up. My sister is going to middle school, the eighth graders are going to high school, and twelfth graders are leaving school. Even though the move from seventh grade to eighth is not exactly monumental, it is mental to think that in a little more than a year, I will be released from middle school. It's also weird to think about all the memories I made. Good and bad. Losing a couple friends, coming out with more, starting this blob. It's like a car that I'm buckled into and I can't stop from speeding ahead.
As I have said in about every single blog post this week, I am heartbroken to tell you guys that I will be leaving for a full month to go to my second home (camp). For the last couple months of June and first three weeks of July, I will not be posting any content. Which as sad as I am that I can't do what I love for a four weeks, I am ecstatic for camp and seeing all my friends that are like sisters and brothers to me. My fashion and style has been going more casual this month for as the school year ends, I become slouchier and slouchier. I will go back to my normal, crazy, clothing once the Summer ends and my energy is recharged.
I am exited for the posts coming out for I have outlined a couple different ones that I am all too exited to write and publish for you to see! With my music taste expanding and me discovering the coolest new people, my blogging ideas are growing bigger along with it. Along with my shopping addiction, I crazy about sharing my new ideas of fashion and style with you lovelies!

I wish I wish from the bottom of my heart that you have the best June possible. We are so close to Summer. Hang on, beautiful!

Read Me!
The gorgeous watercolors used in this note were done by the extremely talented Sinead. This girl is an extraordinary blogger and artist and when I checked out her blog, I instantly fell in love with these paintings. I loved them so much, that I sent her a message on Twitter asking her permission to use them. She ever so nicely wrote back telling me that it was totally fine to use her drawings. I would like to thank her SO much for letting me be able to share these stunning illustrations with you guys. I look up to her as an awesome blogging and fashion role model.
Even though every single one of these are fantastic, I would have to say this very one would have to be my favorite.:
